2002 Honda MRVA stalling engine on engagement FIXED

Postby buddha52 » Tue Apr 11, 2017 4:04 pm

I built a MRVA and when installed went to test run on the lift and keeps stalling motor in D and Rev. Basic rebuild oh kit frictions and filter and molded pistons. I think I ran into this years back but can't for the life of me remember or know what I could have done. Thanks in advance.

haven't ran into this myself but first thing that comes to mind is wires crossed on the solenoids if that is even possible

Thanks Dave, double checked that also took pics of lay out before tear down just to cover that issue.

Could that be a lockup problem? If you are stuck try and contact Dean Mason. He is an
expert on Hondas.

Ended up being a poorly rebuilt converter. Another converter installed and out the door. Thanks to all that responded.
